When you came to this website's home page, you saw a complete listing (our "InTheNews" feed) of all members' announcements. You probably want to view only those announcements from members at your vacation destination. To do that, select your location of interest in the link list above the "InTheNews" feed. The feed will be filtered to show announcement from only those members in the selected area.

Keep in mind that you are seeing only the latest announcements from members. Members may have previous annoucements that are still in effect. If they use the Autologging feature, you can click on the dateline for an item (the dateline immediately follows the icon) to see that member's feed with a "log" of announcements. When you view the member's log feed, you can click the title of any announcement to reach the member to get more information about that announcement and to make reservations if you so choose. (If they are not using Autologging, you will be taken directly to the member's website where information about that annoucement awaits you). Also, you will find useful links across the top of each member's feed for subscribing to the member's feed, for receiving pings and alerts to notify you when when new items are posted, and for sharing with others the information as you wish.

You probably noticed that the announcements on the home page feed are almost always truncated, with a "read this item" link appended. (The reason is to keep the size of the feed contained, yet provide enough information to you to determine if you want to learn more about that announcement). Click that link to read the complete item. To view a feed with a complete listing from members in the geographical area you selected, click the icon.

In summary, the home page InTheNews feed provides a listing of the most recent announcements from all members, either for the full membership or for a geographical area you select. Click the title of any announcement to see the corresponding member's log feed with all that member's announcements (if they have subscribed to the Autologging feature, and up to a limit). Click a "read the feed" link or the "eyeglasses-over-paper" icon to see a complete feed of announcements from members in the area you select, without the announcement being truncated.
